This 2010 Winter Olympics screensaver shows scenes from Vancouver 2010. The latest Winter Olympic Games took place in Vancouver, Canada, from February 12 to 28, 2010. This screensaver triggers when your computer remains idle for a certain amount of time, showing photos of people watching the Games, the place where they took place, competitors and the opening and closing ceremonies.
As in almost any screensaver, the general behavior of this one can be configured through Windows Screen Saver Settings. You can set here how much time the computer is to be expected to remain inactive before the screensaver is activated, and if the system should display the logon screen on resumption. The Preview button lets you trigger the screensaver, in order for you to check the current settings. The "Settings" button, in its turn, allows you to enable multi-monitor support (if your system has more than one monitor attached) and mute sound. This last feature is actually useless, since this screensaver does not include any sound, or the possibility to add your own sounds.
